Here we see a very pleasant 36 year old from Chandler, Arizona who requested tummy tuck surgery after loosing a great deal of weight. She lost over 120 pounds over a year to get to this stage. Loosing the weight made her feel better, but she complained of having a lot of extra skin in the abdominal region and thighs. I performed an extended tummy tuck to remove as much of the excess skin on her abdomen, while at the same time repairing the weakness in her abdominal muscles. Her goal to achieve the flattest tummy possible with an hourglass shape was achieved by this combination of techniques. The abdominal tissue removed weighed 3.6 kilograms. Her before and after extended tummy tuck photos were taken at 5 months since the operation. I also performed a medial thigh lift at the same time.
