Here we have a 33 year old lady from Chandler, Arizona who requested a tummy tuck at our Scottsdale, Arizona medical office. She requested a Scottsdale tummy tuck and lipo of the tummy and hips. She had been looking for a plastic surgeon for several years and felt comfortable at our plastic surgery center. During the consult, she mentioned that after giving birth, she was left with a lot of extra skin and it was quite loose. She was especially uncomfortable with the bunched skin around the belly button. On the examination, she was 5 feet and 4 inches tall and 110 pounds, we found a lot of elasticity in her skin, but not a lot of fat in the area. No lipo was recommended. During the tummy tuck, a great amount of excess skin was removed in order to tighten the tummy as best as possible. She did not require liposuction, only a tummy tuck with muscle tightening. Her cosmetic surgery was performed at a local Arizona plastic surgery and recovery center and she stayed overnight. A pain-relieving pump was placed at the time of her plastic surgery. She is shown 3 months after her cosmetic surgery, and she likes her natural tummy.
